Discovery time

Description: In Discovery I did a war and braking a fan. In the war we use these things call imagines. William, Jacob Wescott and Jayden as my main teammates. The teams were 3 classics vs one big class. When we were breaking the fan a group of boys helped it was William b, Angus m, Jack w, Juven and Logan b. We almost got it open and all of the boys got to get something to take home to break.

Evaluation: I found building things hard.

Feedback: I think you did well working with other people.

Feedforward: Maybe you could do a different activity next time.

Maths

Description: For maths we did a task called pizza fractions. I completed this task and it was really hard. This is pizza fractions.

Description: In maths we have been focusing on square maths word. We have to make a letter that is 6 squares.. They have to be letter words, not numbers. I got a total of 13 out of 26.

Te reo

Description: For Te Reo we are learning a song by Stan Walker. The song is call aotearoa. We are making a kahoot for people to learn about Maori vegetables and fruit. I am learning this because I don't know all about Maori word vegetables and fruit.

Description: In science we have been learning about the moon. The teachers set a task for us to make a movie about the moon. The moon orbits the earth. The Age of the moon is 4.53 billion years.

Description: The art that we made was way more than norm art. Every person in are class start off with a 5cm picture and turn it in to a 25cm picture. There are 30 people in are class and 40 pictures so some people got to do more than 1. We put all the pictures together and this is what it look like.

Camp 2016 e portfolio

Description: On Tuesday the 8th of March we travel to El Ranchi form russell street school. We did 10 Activity for the week. The activity are Pool, Archery, Mini golf, Water slide, Rifles, Horses, Low Ropes, Kayaks, Rafts and Team Initiatives. I did all of the activity. I did Team Initiatives first up. You have to work as a team. Then I did pool that was fun. Three up I did archery and I got a bulls eyes. We went for Tuesday to Friday and that was a big week. Poutama and poutokomanawa had to do camp diary for the week. To add the fun we did a camp concerts, Bonfire, s'mores and spotlight. We went to levin park on the way back home. I got to make my own lunch on Friday.
